Social Studies Resources for the Gifted Classroom

There are a variety of online social studies resources that would be great to use in the gifted classroom. The following is a list of resources that we think would be useful with your gifted students:

  • Hoagies Gifted Education Page has a ton of links to online resources that range from current events to myths and legends.
  • Khan Academy's website has videos covering U.S. history, European history, as well as ancient and medieval history.
  • EDSITEment has a lot of history and social studies lesson plans and worksheets that you can use in your classroom.

Don't forget to check out the Prufrock website for even more challenging social studies resources for the gifted classroom!
