Supporting Teachers and Parents for 20 Years and Counting
In 1989, Joel McIntosh, publisher of Prufrock Press, had an idea: Why not take the best ideas teachers have to offer and compile them into one resource, a journal, of teaching strategies geared to gifted and advanced learners? And thus, the Prufrock Journal (which later became The Journal of Secondary Gifted Education) was born. When McIntosh began publishing books that included engaging, high-quality materials for classroom teachers, his idea bloomed into Prufrock Press Inc. Since that time, Prufrock Press has fulfilled the needs of teachers and parents across the nation for more than 20 years and counting.
