Update: I will continue to consider applications on a rolling basis throughout the year, but keep in mind that we have had more than 500 applicants already and there will be very few spots available going forward. Please allow up to 3 weeks for response. Thanks for your interest!
Know any young readers looking for more books to devour this summer? Here in the Creative Kids office (pictured above), we are suffering from a surplus of excellent children's and young adult literature—many of the titles yet-to-be-released. To save ourselves from possible death in a book avalanche, we are hoping to ship some out—FREE—to kids who are willing to write a review for publication in our print magazine or on the website.
If you know a kid ages 8–16 who would be interested in reviewing for us, have them send (or send on their behalf) an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org with "Book Reviewer" in the subject line. Include the child's:
- Date of birth,
- Address where the book should be sent,
- favorite book,
- favorite author,
- favorite genre,
- and a paragraph or two (written by the child) about why he or she would make a great reviewer for Creative Kids.
I will respond with a list of our available titles. Act fast, while it's still long!
Please note that we are no longer accepting applications for this review team--we do, however, always accept student work for the magazine. Visit www.ckmagazine.org to see our submission guidelines.
